Welcome to Central Ridge Elementary SchoolWe are located in Citrus Springs, Florida, which can be found in the north eastern part of Citrus County. We sit upon the Brooksville Ridge, an area of elevated land (29m above sea level) that runs from north to south through Citrus and Hernando Counties. Click here for a map to Central Ridge. Our school was constructed in 2007-2008 and we opened our doors to students in August of 2008.Our school colors are Dark Blue, Silver, Black, and White. And our mascot, chosen by our students is the Ridgeback. The Ridgeback is a dog originally bred in South Africa to hunt lions. They are intelligent, brave and loyal; just like OUR Ridgebacks!
